hello erik, you can be sure that we would support every activity in order to stop such a bad thought-out plan. maybe we can build up a common front with you, the newspaper, thyweb an others against these sappy projects conceived by thisted kommune and the people who are responsible at "intense development" in vejle, the company that made the plans and want to realise it.

i expect a huge assistance of all our members here at vorupoer.info - the people who wouldn't even spend no danish crown anymore in vorupoer economy if the project is going to be realised. tonight i hope the article would be translated in german to let the tourists know what is going on. are you already involved in some plans to fight against the project? if yes let me know. thanks a lot for all the information and best regards - we will stay in contact!

I wrote to the ministerium and others to activate them against the new projekt. Everyone I have talked to are furious and against. We will also activate the lokal www.thyweb.dk and the newspaper Thisted Dagblad and talk to politician in hope to stop this foolish project.
I myself was borned in Vorupør and are now living on sjælland. I have a house in Vorupør. Hope you can get someone to translate my first two letters to german. Everything is summarized in those letters.

[update 03.11.05, 11:22]: Verantwortlich für die Planung ist die Firma "Intense Development" in Vejle. Der Name scheint Programm. Auftraggeber ist die Thisted Kommune. Es scheint, als sollen Fischhalle und das leerstehende Restaurant Landingspladsen dafür weichen. Ein erstes Statemant von Jan dazu:

"Hej Joe, Ich habe nur die Bildern in Thisted Dagblad gesehen und weiss nicht was da passiert... Ich finde auch, dass es grausam aussieht... Leider können wir uns nicht leisten "Landingspladsen" zu kaufen, aber es ist echt schade falls es nicht mehr als Restaurant da sein soll! Falls ich was höre teile ich dir es sofort mit! MfG. Jan"

Update [02.11.05, 18:50]: Gerade wurde mir eine Fotomontage, abgedruckt wohl im Thisted Dagblad, zugesendet. Inklusive einem weiteren Bericht dazu und einem Leserbrief. Hier schonmal die geplante Ansicht der Gebäudekomplexe. Das klingt für mich entweder nach erstem April und sieht auch so aus, oder nach Boykott. Konsequenzen wird das sicher bei vielen hier haben, wenn das umgesetzt wird...
